Top 15's at Knoxville and NSL

Dakota Hendrickson, just completed his third season in 410 Sprint Cars by finishing 13th in the Lucas Oil Knoxville Championship Series and 14th in the inaugural FVP National Sprint League. The Omaha teen drove for two teams simultaneously throughout the season, teaming with Pleasant Grove, California's Harley Van Dyke for most of the NSL series and driving the Competition Technologies, #4 at Knoxville Raceway and some of the NSL races.

Dakota said, "I would like to thank everyone for a tremendous season. First, Harley Van Dyke for giving me the opportunity to drive his famous 5H cars. Harley is so knowledgeable and has had so many famous drivers behind the wheel of his cars. I would also like to thank my sponsors, Lucas Oil, K&N Filters, Naake Suspension, JRI Shocks, WreckAmended, Vortex Wings, and many more."

"I would also thank some key supporters, Jeff Lampkin, Monte McDowell, and of course Bill McCroskey. These three individuals have supported me since my early days in Box Stock Karts. I can't thank each of them enough. Of course, I would be remiss not to mention all the crew members who worked countless hours and gave me great equipment night in and night out; Steve Fitzpatrick, Josh Lampkin, Kyle Lampkin, Cole Henry, Carson McCarl, and Keoni Texeira."

"None of this would have been possible without the people who made these series possible, Knoxville Raceway, John McCoy, Chris Dunkin, and all the safety crew and track personnel. And I would offer a special thanks to Tod Quiring for creating the National Sprint League. The NSL staff, especially Natalie Sather, Savanna Johnson, Chuck Zitterich, and Bill Wright, all made it a memorable year."

"Finally, I'd like to thank my fans, all my friends and family who pulled for me each night. I very special thanks to my Mom who prayed for me each and every lap and whose life span I'm sure I cut short with a few moves and especially with a hard hit at Knoxville. Thanks Mom! You're the best."

Dakota said his plans for next year are still evolving. He has already been working with potential sponsors and hopes next year will be even more successful than this year. For now he is concentrating on his education as a Freshman studying Finance, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship at Creighton University's Heider College of Business.
